 Today we talked about friends, family, and manhood.  Giving family money, for whatever purpose. They could become dependent on you. To be a man is to handle your business. What would you do if your friend did something immoral or wrong? I would turn the other way depending on the situation 

 Today we read a short story called “The Rockpile”. It was a story based on obeying rules it seemed.One of the main characters were john. He seemed the most relatable to. When it came to situations being outta his hand 

 Today we read a short story about a War veteran and his internal conflicts. Two of them was the struggle of lying to his daughter and imagining he never killed someone. The story was interesting to say the less. I assume this relates to most veterans today.

 Most to all veterans from the Vietnam War are severely traumatized. That trauma lives with them forever. Depending on what they saw it can all affect their relationship with their children. Such as bad memories of seeing children die or some sort. 

 Finished up the Benchmark Test. It wasn’t too challenging. That extended response may be wrong. I’m not entirely sure. I guess I’ll see when test scores come out.

 Took a 20 question benchmark test. I didn’t complete it so hopefully I will tomorrow 

 We went over the test today. I made a 68 on it. Not entirely disappointed because I knew that was gonna be the results. For number two I had it as C at first. I doubled back and I put D . Most likely what made it a 68.  The extended response I could have done better though 

 Out of school for Labor Day

 Today we took a test. It was pretty simple to be honest. Didn’t find it challenging at all. Simple questions at that. The extended response wasn’t hard either. Worked on my quotes assignment after that. Easy day in my opinion 

 Today we had some quotes to decipher. One of them I remember was “To shut your eyes is to travel”. It was about being lost in your imagination and wanting to dream. The speaker was living in a world of imagination. They may never be able to face reality. What it means to dream.
